This site is designed as a hub for arts-based social practice. Across Canada, arts organizations and collectives are working in areas of social justice, environmental justice, sustainable community development, community-engaged research, etc. This site is a place to share our work – to enable deep thinking about our practices and the ways in which they intersect with issues relevant to our communities.

By creating spaces of sharing, we strengthen our ability, as social practice artists and practitioners, to bring the tools at our disposal into relevant change-relationships with the outside world. We create networks by which to learn from one another, and bolster collaborations. By creating this space, we take steps towards supporting and nourishing one another in our work.
